Patrick is a Solicitor and head of Commercial Property in our Bath office and has more than twenty years’ experience advising clients in the city of Bath and surrounding areas.
His main areas of expertise are transactional commercial property work, including sales and purchases, commercial leases and lease renewals, development and strategic land transactions and secured lending work.
He is adept at handling wider commercial client requirements, including business sales and acquisitions, corporate transactions, shareholders’ and partnership agreements and general commercial contracts.
Patrick qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and worked for city firm Macfarlanes and for a variety of leading law firms in the South West, before joining Battens in November 2020.
Clients are able to draw upon his wide-ranging experience advising a variety of organisations and individuals - from Government departments and large institutional pension schemes, charities and major house builders to small business owners, private landlords and tenants. Patrick’s expertise also spans a range of sectors, including development, media, leisure, industrial, retail and secured lending.
